How to Extract CBD | The BDX Process
Proprietary Genetics
Our proprietary genetics contain some of the best strains available on the market, acquired through years of research in a Colorado cannabis facility. Our plants are bred with very high cannabinoid levels while remaining low in THC. We provide our farmers with premium feminized hemp clones that are ready to be planted. Additionally, we are working with a new seed partner to provide feminized hemp seed to our farmers, and are expecting to reach an agreement in time for the 2020 planting season.
Farming and Cultivation
We ensure our farmer network has the knowledge and tools to grow our hemp the right way. During cultivation, our expert hemp agronomists work with farmers to ensure a successful harvest and high yield. Pairing the right genetics with experienced farmers and the proper specifications is the first step in high quality cannabinoid products.
Hemp Farm Services
Upon harvest, we offer our farmers the resources they need to prepare their hemp for the extraction process. From drying services to grinding, decarboxylation, and temperature-controlled storage, we have the right procedures to maintain the highest CBD content possible and ensure our hemp is ready for extraction.
Extraction and Refinement
Our state of the art extraction facility is engineered to produce the highest quality cannabinoid products at scale. With multiple facilities within the BDX network, we are proud to say we have the largest extraction footprint in North America.
Quality Assurance
Our chemists have a passion for perfection. At each stage of the extraction process, they continually check product quality and consistency utilizing medical grade analysis technology in our state-of-the-art, in house laboratory. Beyond that, before any product is shipped out it goes through a redundancy check. A sample from each shipment is sent out to a third party, DEA certified lab for full-panel testing. But you don’t have to just take our word, we include Certificates of Analysis with each order!
