So, What Is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in the cannabis sativa plant, commonly referred to as hemp. CBD is not psychoactive, unlike the major active ingredient in marijuana, delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD can be consumed through a variety of methods, including tinctures, topicals, salves, and more. Following consumption, users report feeling calm and relaxed.

Who is BioDynamic Extraction?

BDX is a vertically integrated cannabinoid extractor and product manufacturer located in Westfield, Indiana. Currently, CBD is our main focus, but we are also doing research into how other cannabinoids can bring value to our customers. At the Westfield HQ, we are capable of producing up to 25,000 kg CBD isolate per year. When you combine that with BDX’s partner facilities in Lexington, KY and Eerie, CO, we have one of the largest extraction footprints in the United States.
